Mosquera: "We reflected the coach's idea perfectly"

Cristhian Mosquera has now played more than a dozen official matches with Valencia CF, including a starting role against Atletico Madrid. He spoke after the final whistle in the 3-0 win.

A great game
It was a very good game for the team, and we knew what we had to do, the coach told us the idea he had for the game and we have reflected it on the field perfectly. We have to continue working.

The break has helped us to work on the ideas that the coach had for this match. We had a good game, the team played together at all times and we were the better side.

Change of dynamics

We had lost two games and this week has helped us to work on our defensive solidity in training, to put that together and be strong. We saw that on the pitch.

Getting a starting role

I think I did well.  I hadn't played for a while, but I felt good and I'm very happy.

His position

I'm always a centre back, but I am also able to play as a right back. I am ready for whatever the coach asks of me and to give everything for the team.

Forwards

We were having a hard time scoring and generating opportunities in previous games, and the team were good in that aspect. We're happy that the forwards are scoring and gaining confidence.
